Behind the Scenes at PF Concept: UK-Made, Sustainably Driven

Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting PF Concept’s UK production facility - and I left genuinely inspired by the innovation, people, and planet-first thinking behind their product development. While many know them for their vast product range, I was particularly impressed by their commitment to UK manufacturing, especially when it comes to sustainable drinkware and paper products.
🇬🇧 The Power of UK Production
PF Concept’s UK-made range centres around three key areas: their iconic Americano® drinkware, the eco-conscious H2O bottle series, and their beautifully crafted Novella paper range. Not only does this local production reduce lead times and carbon footprints, but it also offers more control over materials, finishes, and customisation — something I know many clients value.
♻️ Americano®: A Classic Reinvented
The Americano® range has been around for over 15 years and continues to evolve with sustainability in mind. The digital print finish allows for full 360° coverage without the white join line of traditional methods - delivering vibrant branding with a premium feel. And yes, they’re fully curb-side recyclable and dishwasher safe.
The Americano® Renew range takes a smarter, more circular approach to sustainability — starting with sugarcane. As it grows, sugarcane naturally absorbs CO₂ from the atmosphere, helping offset the emissions generated in other parts of the supply chain. Once harvested, the sugarcane is processed to produce ethanol, which is then used to create a type of bio-based plastic. This plastic forms the base of the Americano® Renew mugs, offering an eco-conscious alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastics. The result is a vibrant, durable, and more climate-friendly mug, all produced with a lower environmental impact — and with a story your customers can genuinely feel good about.
🌊 H2O Bottles with Ocean Plastic
These bottles are a brilliant example of turning ocean-bound waste into something genuinely useful. Made from 100% recycled plastic, these bottles are developed using post-consumer waste collected in collaboration with Bantam, helping to reduce plastic pollution before it ever reaches our seas. While the recycled materials may show slight imperfections, they tell a powerful story — one of purpose, reuse, and zero waste. With a bold design and practical format, these Made in Britain bottles are perfect for brands who want to champion sustainability with impact.
📒 Paper Products with Purpose
PF Concept’s UK Paper Collection offers a wide variety of practical, brandable stationery - all produced locally for fast turnarounds and low environmental impact. From the ever-popular Desk-Mate® notepads and wire-o notebooks to Sticky-Mate® self-adhesive notes, these everyday essentials are perfect for building brand presence on desks and in meetings. The standout, though, is the Novella ‘Austen’ range - a beautifully designed, fully FSC-certified notebook collection that’s as stylish as it is sustainable. Available in A5 and A6 formats (with 50 or 100 sheet options), the Novella range includes craft-covered and recycled paper versions - all curb-side recyclable, with quick lead times and no stock issues.

While the UK-made range impressed with its eco credentials, the Create Your Own (CYO) program stole the show for flexibility. If you’re after something bespoke, this is your playground. From custom headwear and all-over printed totes to fully branded drinkware, MyKits, and premium paper bags, CYO gives you access to specialist manufacturing partners across Europe. Whether it’s PMS colour matching, unique branding techniques, or alternative materials, this programme is built to turn your brand vision into reality - often with low MOQs (from just 50 pieces) and lead times starting from 3–5 days, depending on the item.
👕 A Closer Look at Clothing
PF Concept’s clothing offering really deserves a shout-out too. With two strong and complementary brands - Roly for budget-friendly, high-volume basics, and Elevate for more premium, sustainable and fashion-forward style. From 100% organic cotton t-shirts and recycled fleeces, to event uniforms, workwear bundles, and team kits, their range covers all bases.
With a deep colour palette, extensive sizing, and fast lead times (many within 2–4 days), it’s a one-stop shop for branded apparel - backed by ethical sourcing and slick decoration options including screen print, embroidery, and DTF.
